I have a unique setup with a jazzy gold booth, subtle lighting and a fat soundsystem. Perfect for rustic or boho weddings and can add a whimsical late night festival feel.
My Dance floor Philosophy
Rocking a dance floor at a wedding or private party can be uniquely challenging for DJs, given the diverse age range and musical tastes of the attendees. While many opt for safe, generic wedding playlists, I'm here for couples who truly LOVE music and want a distinct experience.
I’m usually booked to play Funk, House & Disco at parties clubs and festivals all over and that forms the foundation of my music collection but this alone would rarely keep a wedding crowd entertained all night. That’s why I’ve lovingly curated thousands of stone-cold party classics spanning a multitude of genres. including hit's from the 50’s to present day, Indie, Northern Soul, Motown, Rock and Roll, Ska, Reggae, Dance Classics, Drum & Bass/Jungle, Hip-hop, and some rather fine edits and beefed up remixes of classic tunes.
My strategy for a lively dance floor is straightforward: I aim for tracks that resonate with most guests while delighting a select few at the same time. Then glide through genres, tempos and energy levels to ensure everyone experiences their ‘banger’ moment in regular cycles. I also use snappy mixing techniques, surprise edits and beefed up remixes of the classics to keep everyone guessing what track is next. I also prefer to let the music do the talking and only use the mic for announcements.
However, the most important people in the room are You! It's your party and I always want to make sure my sets are rooted in your flavour of music! With every booking I send a couples questionnaire so I can find out what artists, songs and genres you’d want to hear (or not) and build my sets around this. I try to go the extra mile and put in extensive planning and prep work into every booking to ensure a top night of music you’ll love...all expertly mixed. 😎

Had the pleasure of dancing to a DJ Sexy Toast set at a friend’s birthday party and it was fantastic!! He had clearly listened carefully to my friend’s requests and catered for all ages and musical tastes. He read the room perfectly, knew exactly which songs would get everyone up dancing and the dance floor was constantly full! Would recommend hiring him for any events.

Hired Sexy Toast to DJ at my 50th birthday party and he was absolutely brilliant. He was so well organised I didn't have to worry about a thing, he came along set up and got the party started without any stress at all and then he got the vibe exactly right and continued to play all the right tunes and kept the whole dance floor rocking all night long. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone needing the best tunes and the best vibes for any kind of party. Totally brilliant!
